Y’all, I gotta say my stay was just lovely! The room was spotless and had that quirky decor that made me smile. The free tram card was super handy for gettin’ around. Plus, the breakfast spread was fresh and tasty! Could’ve used a bit more space in the bathroom, but it sure was clean!

The staff were extremely nice, making my stay memorable! Plus, the location was fantastic—quiet yet close to the city center and the SBB.

i almost thought this would be a nice stay, except the owner was unbelievably rude, like really, who does that? not impressed that i had to walk a million miles from the station either. funny enough, i expected a complimentary welcome gift after all this chaos, but i guess some people just can't deliver.

this summer, my stay at Birsighof Basel City Center exceeded expectations. the room was clean, comfortable, and had great heating. the owners were incredibly accommodating, even allowing an early check-in after my night train.

the bathroom was quite small.

Clean room with a flat-screen TV. There's a nice picnic area but limited laundry services.

The room lacked basic amenities like a kettle and fan, requiring us to lug our own luggage up without the promised assistance. Additionally, the mattress and pillows felt too soft for comfort, and the quality of the internet varied awkwardly, working better when lying down on one side. definitely not ideal.

I loved having easy access to a self-service mini bar by the garden—such a cute touch! Also, there were convenient charging sockets which were a lifesaver for my devices. My only downside was the room size. it felt a bit tight for my stuff.
